Rome, Italy — featured Escapo itineraryFeatured itinerary3 days · 15 stops

Rome, Italy

Three days, three zones — ancient Rome and Monti, the Vatican and the Centro Storico, then the Borghese, the icons and a Trastevere dinner. Every stop is in walking order, so you never retrace your steps.

  • 1Ancient Rome, then Monti
  • 2Vatican morning, Centro Storico evening
  • 3Borghese, the icons, then Trastevere
Paris, France — featured Escapo itineraryFeatured itinerary4 days · 20 stops

Paris, France

Four days, four clean sweeps — the islands and the Latin Quarter, the Louvre-to-Arc axis, the river walk from Orsay to the Eiffel Tower, and a last day from Montmartre down to the Marais. Each day owns one part of the city, so you spend your time in Paris, not on the métro.

  • 1The islands and the Left Bank
  • 2The Louvre and the grand axis
  • 3Orsay to the Tower, along the river
Barcelona, Spain — featured Escapo itineraryFeatured itinerary3 days · 15 stops

Barcelona, Spain

Three days, three clean territories — the old city sliding down to the sea, the Gaudí route done in the one order that works (up once, then downhill past every facade), and Montjuïc's museums and viewpoints ending in Poble-sec tapas. Each day owns its map.

  • 1The old city, down to the sea
  • 2The Gaudí route, in the right order
  • 3Montjuïc, then Poble-sec tapas
Lisbon, Portugal — featured Escapo itineraryFeatured itinerary3 days · 15 stops

Lisbon, Portugal

Lisbon punishes bad routing more than any city its size — it's built on hills and paved in polished stone. So this plan treats gravity as the itinerary: one deliberate climb on day one, transit up and a long slow descent through the castle and Alfama on day two, and the flat riverside run to Belém to finish. The trams and funiculars are how you get up; your feet are only ever for coming down.

  • 1River, Baixa and one climb to the sunset
  • 2Ride up, walk down: Graça, the castle and Alfama
  • 3The Belém line: monastery, monuments and custard
Istanbul, Türkiye — featured Escapo itineraryFeatured itinerary4 days · 20 stops

Istanbul, Türkiye

Istanbul punishes scattershot planning: two continents, two bazaars, serious hills and water in every direction. So this plan gives each day one territory — the historic peninsula, the climb from the bazaars up to Beyoğlu, the European Bosphorus shore, and a ferry day on the Asian side. You cross the Golden Horn exactly once, on foot, and the Bosphorus twice, by ferry, both on purpose. The boats and funiculars are transport here, not excursions — and they're half the fun.

  • 1The old city, one square at a time
  • 2Two bazaars, one bridge, and the climb to Galata
  • 3Palace to Arnavutköy: the European Bosphorus
Budapest, Hungary — featured Escapo itineraryFeatured itinerary3 days · 15 stops

Budapest, Hungary

Budapest is two cities wearing one name: Buda's castle hill stacked above the west bank, Pest's flat boulevards spread over the east. So this plan gives each bank its own day and never zig-zags the river: Buda's hill climbed once and walked downhill to a Parliament-facing dinner, Pest crossed on foot from the riverbank to the Jewish Quarter, and a final day that rides the little yellow metro out to the park, sinks into the thermal baths, and comes back down Andrássy for a ruin-bar goodbye. The trams and the M1 are transport here, not sights — though the M1 comes close.

  • 1Buda first: the castle hill, walked downhill
  • 2Pest on foot: Parliament to the Jewish Quarter
  • 3The park, the baths, and one last long evening
